Biography of Nassif E. Soueid, M.D.
Dr. Soueid attended Rutgers University in New Jersey where he obtained
his undergraduate degree. He received his Medical Degree from Ross
University School of Medicine. Dr. Soueid completed his General
Surgery residency training at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore,
Maryland. Following the General Surgery residency, Dr. Soueid completed
a residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Louisiana
State University, under the direct supervision of Dr. Robert Allen,
Chief of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Allen, who pioneered and is the leading authority on breast
reconstruction using perforator flaps (DIEP, SIEA, SGAP, IGAP) invited
Dr. Soueid to participate in a Fellowship for Microsurgical Breast
Reconstruction. During his Fellowship, Dr. Soueid further refined
his surgical skills through the guidance of Dr. Allen while performing
breast reconstruction using perforator flaps.
Dr. Soueid's office is located at St. Joseph Medical Center in
Baltimore, Maryland, where he has been appointed Director of Microsurgery.
His practice is focused on breast reconstruction utilizing perforator
flap techniques, general plastic surgery and post-bariatric body
contouring.
Dr. Soueid resides with his wife Julia, an attorney in both Maryland
and Washington, DC, and son Elie and daughter Marie.
